I used the canopies today and coundn't live with the 5 adjustment holes.
I drilled a new hole on another side of the leg and it works GREAT!!Comment

I have had the canopies for a few weeks now and they are awesome!
I love the shade and the nice clean look of the canopies!
Look how much shade we have over a full size suburan!

My original order were for two yellow canvas tops with my logo and " AUTO DETAILING" on them.Originally posted by gb387

It added $300 to $500 to the bill. I was also worried that yellow would get dirtier quicker.
Now when I see the canopies up I wish I had gotten the yellow/logo tops.
Lucky for me the tops can be swtched out in about 5 minutes.
I am going to let these tops get raddy a bit then get new ones with my name/logo on them.Comment

Joe, do use them simply for shade?
I am based out of seattle and and have a smaller canopy that I use, but here it is mostly for the rain. I don't have too much experience doing detailing in extreme heat like you guys get down there in the summer.
At what temperature (air temp and surface temp of the car) should I be using the tent for shade?

Joe, the caopies look real nice. I can imagine with how wide they are that it should keep the sun away from your work and hopefully keep you cooler. Good luck with them.quality creates its own demandComment

Shade is form the sun only. If it rains we lock the doors and hide under our beds here in So. Cal.
