a new guy here that has always washed and waxed his vehicles by hand, although I did try a car wash once back in 1971, a real bad experience and it didn't get it half way clean, just a big waste of cash. hope to get some good ideas from all here and some shortcuts to make it a faster job but not a poor quality job, a job worth doing is doing right the first time.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online!
I think we can help you out!
As far as your experience with a car wash goes, I too have tried products that did not perform as the manufacture claimed and was let down, but don't let that taint you're judgment against all similar products, Meguiar's makes a lot of great products and our car washes are second to none, right off the bat if you're looking for a good car wash they give either NXT Car Wash or Gold Class Car Wash a try, both are top selling car washes and they're top sellers for a reason... (repeat buyers)
To start with, here's our List 'O Links, read through some of the titles down below and especially the 5-Step Paint Care Cycle as a primer for everything else written on this forum and any forum for that matter.

thanks for the hello.
I have tried different items over the years and the best car wash I have found yet is Mr Clean wash, really the final step with the ionized water as it does what it claims no water spots and it sure cuts down on the time it takes to wash and wax a vehicle. I did my new 2005 Chevy Dually crew cab, long bed and had it done in under 3 hours washed and waxed no lollygagging here. I used Mr Clean to wash and rinse but I use Meguiars NXT wax. I know I will hear about not useing Meguiars car wash, sorry but that is what I have found and the next best car wash I have found is or was Dupont Car Wash since it is no longer available. I have been washing and wazing for going on 45 years so I have tried a lot of items and I have also worked in a dealership detailing cars before it was even called detailing so I have a bit on experience under my belt if you can find my belt as my gut gets in the way now a days.3500 Dually Member # 252 and Damn proud of it
