bottle leak normal (DC1)?

I bought a bottle of Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner. It has round Meguiars logo, and "step 1" is printed at the upper right part of the front label instead of lower-mid right.

When I press the bottle gently, I hear air leaking out at the cap. I tightened the cap very tightly, but it still leaks.
Is this normal?

The smell, color, and viscosity are different from the earlier DC1 I had.

I am not sure about viscocity, but smell and color could certainly be different, as it was reformulated some.

I think if you squeeze hard enough, it will let some air out around the spout, not around the threads of the bottle.

Sounds like the bottle may be broken. Try returning it at the store purchase. If they don't mail me proof of purchase and I'd be more than happy to send out a replacement.
