    what is the best way to get rid of serious cob webbing- with time in mind.

  • #2
    The answer will depend on a number of factors such as;

    type, age, color of paint, how bad they are, your experience,
    the products and equipment you have access to, and your desired results.

    Without knowing anything about you or the vehicle in question I guess my quick answer would be to zap your car with #66/8006 combo with a G100.

        When removing swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, or any in surface defects you are going need to use a paint cleaner. A great cleaner that I use all the time to get these defects out is M8032 Speed Glaze. This product has diminishing abrasives in the product which will remove all of the mentioned defects. Here's the key, depending on how heavy the defects are depends on what level of product you will need. Rule of thumb, always use the least aggressive first then if you need to take a step up then do so. After you have worked the M80 into the surface and have removed it before it has a chance to dry, check to see if you have any of your defects left, if so follow the process again, if not then move unto the NXT Tech Wax. Remember a little bit of product goes a long way.
        As for the G100a, that is Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher, which can be used to apply and take off these products. I highly encourage that you purchase a machine, it's going to give you a better end result and it will cut your working time in half. If you have more questons or need to purchase product you can always get in contact with me and I will me more than happy to help you out.
