  • Makita polisher repairs

I am having a problem with my Makita rotary polisher... the trigger button sticks horribly.

Has anyone taken theirs apart to clean it?

I know I should take it to the nearest Makita service center, but I have a black Volvo 960 to detail on Monday and will probably need the rotary to buff out the paint.

    Thanks in advance...

I don't have a rotary buffer, but if it were mine, I would probably disassemble the unit just enough so I could get to the switch and spray some WD-40 into it.
