  • Which LSP on gel-coat, boats&Rv's

Hi wich wax will give me the longest lasting result when working on gel-coat boats & RV's. I don't have access to the marine line here in sweden. But all the proffessional products are here. I even have some bottles of medallion left.

We at Meguiars always suggest using the Marine line for Boats and RV's especially since they have gel coats on them and require to be treated differently than an automotive surface. However in a special case like this where they are not available to you, an automotive wax will be ok. I suggest using either our...

M26 High Tech Yellow Wax or M20 Polymer Sealant

Both of these waxes will help to give you a great long lasting shine and will also be the best choice of protechants from our professional line to use on your gel coat. Not quite as good as a Boat/rv wax, but these will do.

Ok. My experience is that 26# is not so durable on an automotive but adds great gloss and darkness to the paint. The 20 is good in both durability and shine. 21 seems great but i can't tell the duration yet. I just tought that Medallion would be a product to try .what do you think of that?

But then i know from earlier experience that 20 will do the jobb on boats and rv's.

I have access to the marine products but I was curious about the durability of #21 in the marine enviroment so i applied it to a boat and it came out looking great I prepped the surface with 3m cleaner wax and in heavier oxidized places their restorer and topped with 21. Ill take a pic tomorrow if I can

imo you'll get a great visual result with any of meguiars waxes. But what intrests me and ofthen the boat owner is the duration of the waxes.

            Hey,

Just IMO, I would use #20 Polymer Sealant. I have used used the product for a long time and it has never let me down! Awesome stuff!
