    Logistics. Chip is based here. His shop, crew and supporting service providers are local. It's tough enough doing a project in a few days without having to put together an entirely new team.

    Still, I've seen at least one show that was out of town where he worked with a team from the mark's neighborhood. (Texas maybe?)

          I was surprised to see so many shots of Chip etc. using MF's with the tags still on them.

            I've seen her "work" on cars. I liked watching her "work" on cars. But, I don't think she ever got anything actually accomplished "working" on cars. I'm not sure, as I was too busy watching her "work" on cars.

                I believe Tiff and Vicky were on the original version of Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson (this would be toward the end of its run) and when it was cancelled they went to another network and started Fifth Gear. A couple of years later Clarkson put together the concept for the current iteration of Top Gear and got it rolling with Richard Hammond and another guy who only lasted through the first season (or series as the Brits call them) and was ultimately replaced by James May.
