  • All Purpose Cleaner plus

Ok, this review is for every person who likes to detail, is a pro detailer, thinking of detailing, or know's someone who does detailing.

    You must have this product!

It is one of the best products I have ever used. It will clean just about everything on the car. All you need to do is dilute it to what you are cleaning.

I use this as my primary carpet cleaner and vinyl cleaner.

For the price there is nothing better then it and it goes a long way. I buy it in 5 gallons and it will last a few months becuase of the dilution ratio.

To give you an idea I use the ratio of 6:1 for carpet cleaning.
    and 9:1 for vinyl cleaning.

Trust me and pick this product up.

*if you don't know me, don't let that junior member thing under my name fool you. I have been around a long time

and i just love this smiley
Products are only a good as the detailer using them.

    Just to chime in here,

NY Detailer is a very well respected Professional Detailer and offers a lot of quality tips, suggestions, product recommendations and information that works in the real world.

Also, if I walk out to our kitchen and open the cupboard doors below the sink, I will find both Meguiar's Detailer series, Glass Cleaner and All Purpose Cleaner Plus. They are staple in our house because they work so well. Don't limit these two products to the garage, they are wonderful for cleaning inside and outside the house.

And if you need help locating either of these two products, I just typed this little How-To up as a resource for you to use...

    Hopefully this will help...

Seconds to that! APC+ is freaking awesome stuff! From cleaning the engine bay to getting stains out of carpets, it does it all! It's too bad that there is no more All Purpose Cleaner Plus anymore!

However, the new Detailer line has "All Purpose Cleaner" not to be confused with the old All Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser. Supposedly the new "All Purpose Cleaner" has the same fabric cleaning abilities and such. Hopefully it's a suitable replacement...

WHAT!!! I was not aware that they stopped making this!
Hope the new one is just as good, otherwise I will have to have a talk with mike and see what we can do about it.

                Hey

Good news, I have been using the new APC for a while and it is as good as the old APC+. There is a difference in dilution ratios though as 10:1 seems to be the max.

                Cheers!

                    The bottle says 12:1

Would 6:1 be too much I wonder?

I have never had a problem with it. It just seems that 12:1 was not getting the job done, so i decreased the water.

I just made up a batch of the original APC+, 18:1 ratio I believe. That should be safe for my Recaro Seats and my Carpets right?

                          RB,

Where in NC are you located? I am in Charlotte and am having a heck of a time finding a PBE that carries a good selection of the professional line. Can you help?

                            Hi volunteer1816.......Welcome to MOL.

I'm just across the river from you.

There's 2 places in Gastonia that I buy from.

                            #1 is:

                            #2 is:
                            Franco Industrial Supply
                            704-865-8536

Franco has the best selection of Meguiar's products in town. (They have some of Meg's stuff that I've never heard of). Their prices have increased of late though.......Not sure, but they might be under new ownership.

Carolina Paint has decent prices, but the Meguiars' selection is limited......They will order though.
