80 and 83 with decals

Why would you want to buff over a decal? Are they swirled?

To give a nice shine, forgoe a paint cleaner and put on a wax or protectant. As long as the vinyl isn't printed it should be safe. In your case it should be fine, but you gotta remember factory MINI vinyl won't necessarily be the same as factory vinyl from another manufacturer.

yeah i'm going to skip the 80 or 83 and just go with the wax/protectant on the decals only.
