  • Detailing 1985 Porsche 911 - any thing I need to be careful of?

I'm detailing a 1985 Porsche 911 this weekend. It's in decent shape with mainly the normal swirls that happen over time. I've never done a Porsche. Is there anything I need to be careful of with Porsche paint?

    Bob,

How did this turn out? Is there a thread with before and after pictures?

did an 89? 911c4s yesterday and was surprised to see single stage paint. i know the newer ones swirl and scratch easily.
good luck and don't dress the engine untill after you wash and before you dry as water runs into the engine bay
