  • Will #80 work for me?

My Jeeps' hood has developed some mild water spots along with the roof. I was thinking about ordering some #80 to remove them along with some light scratches. I cannot afford to order both 83 and 80 and was hoping 80 would remove them.

I was also going to get some ASD for the fender wells and engine along with Safe D to clean the engine.

    Sound good?

why not just get 80 and 83 in the 12oz sample bottles. More than enough to do what you want.

I guess I could do that. How many cars do you believe i could do with 12oz's? I was wanting to try this stuff on my moms car and see what I could do with its paint.

My friend has a Jeep with bird droppings and water spot etchings. VERY hard paint surprsingly. I could barely remove some of the stuff with Scratch X.

Hopefully your paint is softer than his (2004 Wrangler), since you can't afford numerous products.

No mater which way you go, samples or regular size bottles, #80 is a product you will want to have on your shelf. And you will want to get the hang of it first as well.

#80 is the most versatile product Meguiars has. Worked correctly it is as close to a miracle-product as you can get. It will clean up moderate swirls AND leave your finish 99% polished and ready for wax.

That's exactly what I would do if I were in your shoes. You will use #80 A LOT more than #83. You won't regret the purchase, trust me!
