Experimenting on the hood for fun:
So this was just for fun... sort of an effort to use up some my old Step1, 2, and 3. We found that multiple applications of Step1 (paint Cleaner) with our cheap $20 craftsman buffer to be better than claybarring first. Nothing beats those 3800 RPM or whatever it is. The buffer's motor actually gave out in the middle of doing this car, so the rest was done by hand. We plan to have another go at it in a few weeks with claybar first then everything else with the buffer again. Hmmm... i suppose we really should invest in a G100 or porter cable DA... lol
