Once fabric softner has touched a microfiber towel, is there any way to save it?

I accidently did this, just wash it a couple of times with some detergent it should be fine. -

You can rinse it out with some APC and water a couple of times. That will eliminate any fabric softener in the MF. I would wash it in the washing machine afterwords, minus the fabric softener.

Fabric softner decreases the amount of water that a microfiber towel can absorb. Never wash nor dry with any type of fabric softner.'00 Audi A4 1.8 T
