Looks like a bunch of REALLY nice trucks! Wish I could've made it out but the 31 hour drive really kind of pulled me out of the hunt... Mapquest Link

Seems like Meguiars only does these things in CA or East Coast. I stuck in Texas so LOL.

            RP,
That is short drive. Just remember if the wheels are not turning you are not making money.

            Details3,
Where on the East coast has Meguiars held a clinic?

I have a friend who lives in NC and he mentioned it last summer. I think it was the truck that travels around the country - he mentioned that he recieved some training from Megs. I will email him to get more information and then shoot you an email.

                Very Nice Event

Well I would just like to say I had the pleasure of bringing in my gen 1 lightning and meeting these people, especially Mike Phillips. He was a very cool guy and has given me the secrets to restore my paint. Before I talked with him today I was ready to get it repainted, he proved to me I can restore my old paint with the right "receipe" and some dedication. All I can say Is thank You very much, Id love to bring the truck by again after I do the whole thing as we did to the passenger door and have you overlook what I did.

The Ford Lightning Detail Day at Meguiar's brought at least 25 area members of the local National Lightning Owners Club

Here's a link to their main homepage, http://www.nloc.net/home.php

One of the trucks their had a sticker in the window with their club name reflecting on the hard tonnoe cover,

Besides an opportunity to learn more about Meguiar’s products and techniques for using them, Detail Days at Meguiar’s are a time to meet with fellow club members who hang out on the various NLOC discussion forums and put a name to an Avatar.

The first order of business after the classroom presentation is to demonstrate some techniques for applying and removing various products using the G-100 Dual-Action Polisher.

After the demonstration, it's time to get busy!

After cleaning and claying the hood of the very wild looking yellow and black Boss 5.4 liter Ford Lightning, a close visual inspection revealed some very light water spotting.

Here's a shot of the owner using the G-100 Dual Action Polisher to remove the defects and restore a crystal clear surface using #83 DACP with a W-8006 foam polishing pad. This combination of products and tools is safe and effective on just about any finish.
