    1998 Honda Civic Sedan (Black)

    Hi guys,

This past weekend, I got to work on my coworker's 98 Civic that he had bought from another coworker. The car was basically never waxed, and was heavy in swirls. I'll let the pictures speak for itself.

Before Shot - After wash with NXT - It doesn't look bad under the shade.

Before Shot - Swirl City - Look again and this is through out the whole car

DIrty Paint. This is only from the hood. The roof was 3X as bad.

karazyman, Nice Work! That Honda looks amazing! The only thing I'd add to it is a little tire shine...

Nice write-up, great documentation with your pictures, we can see you taped all the trim off, you did a "Test Spot", and then finished off the entire car with professional results the first time.

Thank you for taking the time to share this with the MOL forum and great job!

Excellent work! When you say "passes", do you mean applications or just going over a few times with the same application? Nicely done!

Thanks! Actually, I did use Armor-All Tire Shine, Only had time to put one coat on which usually doesn't shine much. But the photo doesn't do its justice. it's actually nice and glossy in person.

Hi Mike, Thanks for posting! It means a lot. I really only taped off the plastic/rubber moldings that I felt the polish and wax might give me problems after, so i left the chrome trim pieces alone to save me some time.

Thanks! When i say passes, it actually means both haha. I go over it with the same application first, and made sure the PC went over it a couple times to polish evenly. Then i take the polish off to see if the scratches were removed. Then I spot polish areas where I felt I could use a little more pressure.

I think I really shocked him when I was done. He was so happy that He didn't even want me to touch the interior.

Thanks for the comments, and Sorry for the late replies, I have no internet access at work!
