Howdy!
I am pretty new in this forum, however I did have the pleasure to learn a lot (and experiment a lot )
about Detailing in General and I thank you all therefore
Here is a pic from our 2005 Nissan Maxima in Smoke Grey what i recently detailed, my plan was pretty extensive as some of you pro's might tell me
However, I like to learn and understand the different products Meguiar's has
and then some
I do understand that there are some "miracle" products, M80 ieg and a couple more
combo attacks that i have seen on the forum, so feel free to adjust my steps
to give even more insight Thank you all for all the tips and everything
1. Wash with NXT Car Wash
2. Smooth surface detailing clay
3. Applied Meg's Protech Protectant for tires
4. Applied Rubber and plastic trim with 303 Aerospace protectant (experimental)
5. M9 with PC/G-100 speed 5 and white LC polishing Pad
6. DC Polish (step-2) with PC/G-100 speed 4 and white LC polishing Pad
7. Color-X with PC/G-100 speed 4 and black LC finishing Pad
8. Applied by hand Color-X on rims
9. Applied M7 by hand and MF including rims
10. Applied 2 layers of Nano-Wax by hand (Experimental)
11. Let it sit for about 3 hours and repeated step 1
This pic is taken the next day at my inlaws drive, exstensive steps? yeah.....but well worth it IMHO
