Hello all,
This is a follow up detail to the detail I did a couple weeks ago. (see Detailed the Truck Today for reference.)
When I buffed it out a couple weeks ago, I didn't get all the swirls out and they were really bugging me, so I decided to buff it out again. Last time I did one pass with M80 and the same goes for this time. Even though Mike suggested M83 (Scratch -X vs. 83 vs. 80), I haven't had good luck with M83 and didn't want to deal with it today, so I went with M80 again. I went a lot slower this time and work with much smaller sections and changed pads more often.
On to the Process(same as last time):
Wash w/Gold Class
Clay w/Smooth Surface
1 Pass M80 w/PC on 5 and 8006 Pad
1 Pass M21 w/PC on 3 and 9006 Pad
1 Pass NXT Tech Wax w/PC on 3 and 9006 Pad
Tires wear Hot Shine Trigger
Rims/Chrome polished with NXT All Metal
Trim, Wheel Wells and Running Board dressed w/Hyper Dressing 4:1

After 1 Pass of M80 (same spot and light as the one above)
Nice little reflection
And the Afters:
We have a swirl-free finish!

Looking good. You managed to get alot of shine out of the white!Great Job. Like your reflection shots also. Way to go.
