    2003 Yamaha V-Star

    Hi y'all,
Just wanted to show off my sister's 2003 V-Star 650 Custom I recently detailed. This was a quick detail, with the following steps:

Quik Detail the whole bike (it had been washed recently)
NXT All Metal Polysh on the chrome/wheels
2 passes with #80, 8006 on the tank
NXT Gen Tech Wax on the tank and windshield

I had waxed the rest of the bike a little while ago, so the only reason I even waxed the tank was because I used #80 on it. I also had recently treated the seat with #40.

    My favorite shot:

    My second favorite:

Note: these pictures were taken by someone else because it was being put up for sale.

    Re: 2003 Yamaha V-Star

Thanks y'all! I didn't buff anything but the tank because I didn't have much time, but also because the only other place big enough to use the buffer was the tail. The dark purple on the tail is a vinyl graphic, though. The graphics on the tank are also vinyl, but they have clear coat over them. I didn't want to do mess up the vinyl, so I didn't do anything to it except for a wash and wax (which I had just done recently). Also, the discolouration on the pipes is discolouration in the metal itself...it won't come off.

    Bike looks great! Good work!

If you want to try to remove the bluing from the pipes try a product called Blue Job. I have never used it before but it is made to remove that blue discoloration from pipes.

    Thanks for the compliments!

Hmmm...Blue Job? I've never heard of that before but it sounds like something worth looking in to. Thanks BlueZero!
