  • QD or glass cleaner on motorcycles windshields?

    Hey y'all,
This past weekend I went on a motorcycle trip, and since the weather has warmed up here, all of us were getting a lot of bugs on our windshields and helmet visors. All I had with me was QD, so we used that. I'm just wondering if QD is actually "safe" for motorcycle windshields and helmet visors or not? Also, what about detailer line glass cleaner? I'm just wondering what I should bring for future motorcycle trips to get the bugs off the clear plastic things. Thanks!

MY CYCLE RIDING BUDDIES USED TO LAUGH AT ME FOR CARRYING A SMALL BOTTLE OF QD & A MICROFIBER TOWEL WITH ME ON TRIPS BUT NOW I'VE NOTICED THEY ALL DO THE SAME.

On a side note, don't know if you know this or not but when you type with the CAPS lock key on, it looks like you're YELLING, at least that's how it's perceived.
