  • 90% improved!But still have swirl mark..

I used #80 with 8006 pad + Bosch GEX 270 AE orbital polisher (because we can get PC's or G100 ) and topped with #7 and NXT (1layer).

Before (like this all over the cars) :

    after :

Can u guys give me an enlightment? you must see the full size images to see the swirl mark.

    Thx

That looks to be a pretty amazing transformation! It would be nice to see an after picture of the same area and angle as the before shot though. I certainly understand the desire to remove 100% of the defects, but sometimes you have to live with certain issues, especially on a daily driver.

Of course there's nothing wrong with practicing a lot until you perfect your skill level and you can remove everything.

major improvement over what it used to look like haha... to get rid of those last swirls...maybe you can redo it with 83 80 7 then NXT again and work it in more... go slower and apply more pressure maybe....

            thgere is a HUGE improvement.

take out M83. do a few passes. slow down your arm speed. and see how that works out for you.

then follow with M80 and that should hopefully clear it up.

it may take a few passes of M83 if you're working with a G-100.

those are interesting swirl marks (like thousands of independent circles)... anyone know what causes that?

In the first pic it looks more like water etching than swirls.
Looks like it follows the spray pattern of the window washer.

What do you use in your window washer? Seems to be pretty agressive. Or maybe it's just really hard water?

Yup,its really hard water.. because we use land water. it's worst than rain water. I dont have G100, i use bosch orbital polisher. the G100 orbital throw is 5mm,this bosch only have 2mm orbital throw. does this will affect the process?

this morning i've got my #83. i'll try it =)

Before polished,i really cant see swirls because the water spots cover all over the cars =(

                    that's some harsh water.

its already a HUGE improvement and hopefully M83 helps even more.

                    wash
                    clay
                    M83
                    M80
                    NXT

                    goodluck. please share results

With truffle. You seem to have even harder water then we do and we even have to give the pets bottled water. lol If you try tp plan of attack I think you will get the rest out. keep us updated.

This is latest update, with #83 at 1st step. all step are redo (only on hood). It's been rainy all day. I couldn't do sun photo. this is test spot with ceiling fluorecent lamp.

Can you spot the difference??and what is that tiny holes on paint?can I eliminate those holes with polishing?
