Could you tell me,what are the area of usage of paste and liquid version, and what are the differences?? Thank you..
Paste's are a bit more difficult to apply, but in my experience offer a little more durability as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by "area of usage"

Right from our FAQ page on meguiars.com...

The difference between paste and liquid wax is primarily one of convenience and personal preference. Meguiar's liquid formulas provide the same protection as paste, and are easier and faster to apply.

If you are really really worry about the wax getting onto the chrome parts of your car, you could simply tape them off while you applying wax. NXT Tech Wax 2.0 can only be applied on painted surfaces (as in capitalized letters on the back of the wax's bottle) in which excludes chrome surfaces.

          Good luck.

Well......... while true that any and all Meguiar's waxes are designed for use on paint, they can be safely used on chrome, hard & shiny plastics (like headlights, tail lights or glossy plastic panels on ATVs and the like). You just don't want to get most waxes on textured vinyl soft rubber trim as they tend to leave residue on those surfaces.

            • Re: NXT Tech Wax 2.0...Proper way to store

For years, I have stored paste wax in the refrigerator. This helps the wax to last longer, it doesn't dry out or crack. In Florida, where the temperature in a closed garage can get quite hot, this storage method pays off. What about NXT 2.0? Will high temperatures affect this liquid wax? Should it be kept in the refrigerator as well? The same for Ultimate Quik Wax and UQD?
              Thanks.

For me, I keep all my Meguiars supplies including the NXT 2.0, UQD, UQW, etc inside my closet where there is air conditioning; I think putting anything in the garage will ruin the products or at least it won't be the best that it can be when it is being used the next time... (I stored some unopened once in the garage for only 1 week; the went bad even it is a canned food...)

Here's a couple pictures taken with my iPhone about two months ago. This is about three weeks from the day I completely waxed my car.

                  Process:
                  1. Wash
                  2. Clean - Mother's California Clay Bar w/ Meguiar's Last Touch 1:1
                  - SwirlX
                  3. Polish - NONE
                  4. Wax - NXT TechWax 2.0 (I cannot remember if I topped it off with Gold Class CP)
                  5. Maintain - Last Touch

Thanks for your advice. I'm keeping my paste wax in the frig (that has worked out so well), but moving all liquids to the house. Something I also do is shake each bottle occasionally between uses to keep the mixture from settling and possibly thickening at the bottom.

I finally had the chance to try it out on my white car (after claying and using a light polish/cleaner). It was easy to apply but:

                      1) In some cases I couldn't distinguish the areas on which wax was applied (depending on the angle of the sunlight. Specifically I had this issue on the doors only). It became a bit irritating after a while I didn't have this issue with other waxes before.

                      2) It has a nice effect and the car looks nice again, but I wasn't really impressed with the depth. Not at all. What product would you recommend using on top of the NXT 2.0? I know white is a difficult colour, but I'd like a bit more effect.

                      Thanks

White is difficult to make it 'pop'. White need a 'bright' wax that makes it look 'bling'. NXT is Megs 'blingiest' wax I think. Maybe M20 is brighter?

It's true. It's quite difficult to make white paints pop. However, if you do not take care of your paint and it's black, it really shows the WORST of your paint. On the flip-side, if you are extremely passionate about detailing (like I am), at the end of hours of detailing, the results are well-worth it.

White paint isnt that hard to make pop.

                              I enjoy detailing white vehicles.
