Hey everyone,
On Chrismas eve about 7:30 when my father -in-law was trying to leave my house he noticed his 6 month only Buick lacerne(spelling) was hit. I went out to see how bad it was, and the person hit his passenger side front fender and wheel. The impact probably broke a tie rod since the wheel was kicked in about 3 -4 inches from straight. We called the cops and while we waited myself and another neighbor trailed the line of radiator fluid down my street. We were hoping we could find them and we did, about 2 1/2 blocks away. When the cops got there we told him we found the car. After taking my father -in -laws info he went to the H and R drivers house. It was a 83 year old man who stated he did not even know he hit anything. This got the cop kind of mad do to the fact that what if it was a person he hit instead of a parked car. The other driver got multiple ticket to include leaving the seen of an accident plus some other ticket. The cop also stated that he put him in for a drivers re-test. This is the second time since he got the car that someone has hit the carwhile it was parked, And to boot he just got it back from the body shop 2 months ago. This was his first new car in about 20 years as he always bought used cars and I can see why. My father in law said that he drives the nj parkway daily at 70 mph and he gets hit twice in 6 month while it is parked. Here are 2 pictures for you to see.
