What music do you mostly listen to when driving?

    Re: Driving Music?

I listen to a lot of different music while driving. I am on a Lynyrd Skynyrd and beleive it or not a Pantera kick right now. Skynyrd for a traffic free cruise and Mainly Panter's "Walk" when I am in serious traffic.

      Re: Driving Music?

Believe it or not, I don't usually listen to music; for me it is a time to think about things. Now, if I do play music, it varies a WHOLE bunch depending on what kind of mood I want to be in.

          I like Christian Rock:

          Newsboys, Third Day, Tree63, etc.

I still like some old rock too 70's and 80's. I have XM in both cars and switch stations.....a lot.

            Re: Driving Music?

I like a few different types of music:

Rap (Jay-z, Kanye West, Common, Ja Rule, Fabolous)
            R&B (Ne-Yo, John Legend, Avant)
Older Jazz (Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin)
Older R&B (Barry White, Marvin Gaye)
Older Pop (Tom Jones, ABBA, some Elton John)

I would mainly say I like oldies and rap. Although I wouldn't mind if rap would end itself, because it is not very good and it seems like everyone is just talking kinda the gangster stuff. Not sure if it's just the music or me growing up a little bit, or maybe a combination of both. Plus I like some poppy vocal techno. A little bit of it all.

                Re: Driving Music?

I drive a little under three miles to work so there's barely enough time to listen to a full length song. Pink Floyd does sound pretty good on the audio system though. (eight speakers plus sub). Work and back I just keep punching radio buttons until something his my fancy

                  Re: Driving Music?

Sometimes it's no music, sometimes metal, or these days it's soft rock with opera. I can listen to anything except hip hop.

When I want to relax, I'll play a classical music CD like a soundtrack, when in the other extreme mood, it'll be Children of Bodom. Anything in between depending on the mood.

Foo Fighters. Or anything thats good on the radio.

I also like to drive around with no music or anything. Its a two hour drive home from college and sometimes I just... Think... Its nice after a hard week.

I've got an adapter that lets me control my iPod from my factory head unit while the iPod is tucked safely away in the glove box. So I listen to all sorts of things. Except Rap and Country. Sorry, but as a quirky British dude I know likes to say "that just ain't my bag, baby".

I am a creature of Habit. The same choices as when I am detailing. A 70's classic rock station, and of course some Frank, and deano. Every once and a while I will throw on some country. Thats it.

i listen to all kinds of music... Linkin Park is my favorite one. I started listening to some more Led Zeppelin. but if you want good music to listen to that's agressive, put on The Prodigy's Fat of the Land album *thumbsup*
