Meguiar's New Detailer Line

Hey Mark,

I did not find it very aggressive. It may be slightly more than the new mild clay, but not by much. Just be careful not to rub too hard. Let the clay do the work. Plus, I use LOTS of lube, #34 Final Inspection.

The Overspray Clay should not mar the paint. It never has for me. It is better than the old Meguiars consumer clay. It has never failed to remove contaminants for me. It is a little bit more difficult to work with in really cold weather.

How does the Overspray Clay comare to the Detailer Mild Clay in terms of aggressiveness? Does it require less lube than the Overspray Clay? The Overspray Clay seems to require more lube than the Clay Magic does, but if you use the extra lube (#34) it works fine.

I've contacted Meguiars Canada today to see if I could order some stuff from the detailer line, and I was told that they didn't carry the "D" line!!! Even more frustrating is the fact that as of May, they won't even sale any of the meguiars pruducts in the one gallon size!!!! you either have to buy it by the bottle or in the 20 litres (appox 5 gal) size. I go through alot of the compound, polish and wax but being mobile I don't have room to store 5 gallons size of anything!

All Purpose Cleaner Plus?

Is the All Purpose Cleaner Plus, D-10301, still available?
I don't find it in the Meg's on-line store.
D-10101, All Purpose Cleaner is still listed, but I didn't see the D-10301.
And yes, I know it is still listed at ADS.

Charles, I believe APC + was discontinued and and then reintroduced along with I believe water based dressing and two other new Detailer Line items. They are rare and I don't believe Meguiars actually caries them (I know, a little weird that they don't carry their own product.) Anyways, ads does carry them along with some other retailers, I read that on hear somewhere, but can't seem to find the link.

yes it's available, but megs doesn't sell it. iirc, it's only available through limited distro, in which ADS is one of the few suppliers who carries it, as well as the super soap and water-based dressing...

A question about the "Shampoo Plus" and "Hyper Wash". On the website, under products, Meguiar's says the "shampoo plus" is biodegradable, but here in this thread, the "hyper wash" is listed as biodegradable. Can someone please clearify which is which?

All Meguiar's car washes are biodegradable, the problem isn't usually the car wash it's the gunk you wash off your car that's not always biodegradable.

Make sense?
