I thought you guys were headed to Meguiar's this morning!! I passed this group on the northbound 5 FWY near Lake Forest around 7:15 this morning on my way to Cars & Coffee. The yellow Mustang shown here was the lead car on the road at the time. I knew you guys had a session scheduled so when I saw a group of black Mustangs traveling together at that time I figured you had to be on your way to Meguiar's.

WOW! The picture of my car in front of the Meguiars building looks SO COOL!

Many thanks to Meguiars for a wonderful class! My husband and I really learned alot, we can't wait to put all that we learned into practice!

OMG the BBQ chicken pizza was sooooooooooooo good!

We ordered a DA, the M80, and some other goodies. Then we stopped at Pep Boys on the way home and bought a bunch more Meguiars products so we can work on my car tomorrow! (Sunday)

Thanks again for your time, the free goodie bags, free donuts, pizza, and drinks, the demonstrations... it was overwhelmingly amazing!!

Heres some pictures I took today...sorry for the different sizes, apparently I changed the resolution sometime during the day.

Here's everybody in the morning before we headed in for the beginning of the PowerPoint presentation.

During the PowerPoint we took a break for some soda and to stretch out a little. We also went and found a car to work on during the garage portion, lets just say we found a perfect demonstration car.

We finished the PowerPoint presentation and class portion of the day and took a break for some great pizza as always.

After the food, we went out and checked over the demonstration car one more time and compared it to Yoshi's flawless Mustang. Today was also a very large class, 35 on hand.

Of course we have to document the swirls as well...

Remember our demonstration car with all the swirls, well here is Yoshi's black Mustang, look at the depth, reflection and flawless finish.

For today's demonstration car, Mike used these products...
                        Smooth Surface™ Clay Kit
                        ScratchX®

                        Deep Crystal® System Polish
                        NXT Generation Tech Wax®

First we clayed the car to remove above surface containments and prepare the surface for a wax.

Then Mike used Scratch-X, applying 3 times to the paint. With this product, put the product on the end of the pad because that's where your going to be working in the product, the tip of your fingers.

Spread the product out in a circle motion, then begin working in different directions.

After the application of Scratch-X 3 times and Deep Crystal Polish, Mike applied NXT Tech Wax 2.0. Notice that you can't really see anything? That's because you only need 2 thin coats of wax, not 1 big thick coat.

Moving on to the DA...I didn't get many pictures from here on, my camera was running low on battery's.

Here's Mike covering cleaning your pad on the fly...

Notice the dark circle where Mike's hand is, thats product coming off the pad.

Here are some of the cars that were on hand today...I'm not sure who's is who's or what club they belong to, but here they are.

                          And some random pictures...

Another great day at Meguiar's and a sunny day in So Cal!!

                            Mike,

Thanks to you and Meguiar's for another great class, even though I have been to three classes I always find them informative and learn something new. The new DA100 looks like a winner and I ordered a couple to try in our detail shops. And we can't wait to try the M105. Hope to see you soon again in the advance classes.

Mike, I would like to say Thank You for the class yesterday. This class is a must for anybody that has made the decision for take personal care of their vehicle or start into the craft of detailing cars. I recently purchased a G100 along with several products. Now I have the correct techniques to use the equipment and products effectively. I would like to say Thank You to Meguiar's for the commitment to not only selling great products but actually providing the education to correctly use them in the real world.

As a side note it would appear that I didn't chop any heads off in the pictures (Whew)

                              Thanks again, Chris
