  • Meguiar's Catsup? Why not?

I don't know why I found this to be funny, but it is!

"Until it was sold in 1955, the Meguiar's Catsup & Chili Sauce factory was in Fowlerton. The factory facilities are currently in disrepair, but some buildings are still standing." source: Wikipedia.

That would be Fowlerton. Indiana, btw.

Does anyone have further knowledge of the Meguiar's culinary escapades?

Oops! I guess I'm not the first to 'discover' this!

Barry says it is not related to his family...

The picture above is one we snagged off eBay when we found it for sale, our mistake was not bidding on it at the time. We are however always keeping an eye out for it as it would be fun to add to our collection.

We have another picture of the same bottle, we'll see if we can find it out of our zillions of photos from our Saturday Classes...

Time to fire up the Picasa

They were abandoned after chef realized humans, unlike cars, are not fond of idea of getting their interior polished and once diminishing abrasives were removed from the recipe catsup just didn't taste the same anymore.
