  • Flat paint, paint repair....

    Hey guys and gals,

I am seeing more and more vehicles coming to me with flat black paint. Swirls and scratches all over them, and the customer wanting to get rid of them. Right now, there is nothing we can do without shining up the flat paint. We need something to take care of these vehicles. The industry is producing more and more of these flat black paint jobs, and we(the detailers) have no way to take care of them.

Can we get a product to take care of the flat paints, or a product to remove the shine from your existing products?

    Help?

Great suggestion, good observation on trends also.

It's hard to abrade or clean flat black paint and then leave it looking normal or like it did in the beginning.

We've used Gold Class Trim Detailer to make the paint look good, but not remove swirls and scratches out of it, owners of these types of cars need to step up to the challenge and learn how to wash and dry their car in a way that doesn't put scratches into the paint in the first place, that's the root cause of the problem.

Marketing sees all the suggestions posted to this forum so you're idea will be read and discussed.

    Thanks Nick!
