    Early Mirror Bright Auto Polish

Don't have a lot of information on this product so we'll let the pictures tell the story...

We made the pictures as large as possible without going overboard... (we hope, sorry to anyone using a dial-up modem)

        Ah...

I would have sniped it if it was on eBay...hahaha...

Anyways, every Mirror Bright or Mirror Glaze glass bottle has something about the Turkish toweling. Was this a Mirror Glaze product or something entirely different?

Turkish toweling was a type of high quality, very absorbent terry cloth towel with a plush nap, like you find today in a high quality spa towel like a Fieldcrest or a Cannon brand towel.

It was as good as it got and worked great for single stage paints at the time these older products were around.

Remember, microfiber is a *new* technology and until it came along in the mid to late 1990's Meguiar's always recommend high quality, 100% cotton terry cloth towels as they offered a nap.

This polish must have been like #7. What was the Finish Preserver like? In the 60s you couldnt get Meguiars products in the midwest , although there was a limo co.that had Meguiars products shipped in .The polish was # 7, but the wax was a blue liquid, same shade of blue like #16 but a liquid.

Meguiar's first automotive wax was M16 which was introduced in 1951 near as I can find out.

A common and popular liquid wax in the 50's and 60's was Blue Coral and I believe it came in a blue bottle.
