  • Search function: "How To"

    The forum is already improved.

I want to avoid repetative posts.

The default for search appears to be "OR". Even if I use the "AND" or "+" operator.

However, before I post a new question about M40, I am not sure I searched correctly: I entered "M40 technique" as I want to know if I work M40 in a little at a time or use the "more is better" approach.

I can't believe the question hasn't been asked before, but can't find it.

I googled "vBulletin search how to". No luck.

I don't remember anyone ever asking a question specifically like yours?

There's always a first time for everything so have at it!

As for searching, you probably already know this but a lot of people might not, so here's a pictures explaining a tip to help you search.

      Re: Search function: "How To"

I remember somebody telling us about a way to search sites through Google. He said to enter your search information, so "M40 Technique" and then the site. So it would look like this in the search bar:

      M40 Technique site:http://meguiarsonline.com/

And here would be your results.

Hopefully this helps you out a little.

You can use Google to search a website and it's a very powerful way to search a forum.

Here's a brand new article on how to use the Advanced Search Engine built into the forum.

Some tips for using our forum search engine

That's how I do it. It works better than vB search.

I'm a little late, but, thanks for the tips.
