    Can I mix the Ultimate Compound and SwirlX on the same W8207 pad or do I need separate pads per application? I want to make sure I purchase everything I'll need. Thanks, Phil

      Hey Phil,

      You should use separate pads per product. After you wash them, you can use a different product on them, but you should not mix products on the un-washed pad.



      As for the original question, it appears that Mike answered it for me. But as said, I would use the correct plate to match the pad. It just makes life easier in the long run....
