3Fitty, check your little arrow button to the right of the page.

Below is an older screen shot of my rep when it came up a few months ago. See the blue arrow gizmo on the right side? press that and see if it comes up, other than that, not sure

Yeah, mine doesn't look like yours in the User CP. I have the top part "new subscribed threads" but I do not ahve the "latest reputation received".

    Don't know why.

You don't have it at all or it's just not expanded?

Maybe you need to check your settings?

Yeah, I don't have it at all and I went into the options menu but I have no area to enable it. I'm puzzled.

Re: Can't see rep when in user CP.

Here's the "Reputation Settings" as seen from the Admin Panel. I tweaked some of them yesterday to different limits and that's why some of you seen your Rep Power increase.

I haven't taken the time to fully investigate and then understand how to tweak the settings for an optimum reflection of our members reputation or perhaps a better word for reputation would be the word "helpfulness", but plan on doing this when I can make time.

Until then anyone is welcome to investigate this on their own by visiting both vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org and doing some searching using the terms, User Reputation and then report back here what you find out.

It looks like all the #'s in there are correct besides the very first #. That means that as soon as bobthebuilder (ex.) makes a account, he already has 10 rep points. I think it should be 0, then they gain reputation points as they help people.

Re: Can't see rep when in user CP.

Ryan I know what your saying about the first setting but it doesn't seem to apply?

If you look at this thread

the thread starter has two posts, (new member), and already has a Rep Power of 2, not 10.

Here's a screen shot as these statistic will change as he posts more...

What we need to do is find out why he already has 2?

Need to do some research and then tweak the settings...

Open to any helps as I have a ton of other side-work to do...

                p.s.

Not singling Dave aka bad425rt out for any reason except he was the first new member's post I could find for a screenshot.

I'll look into it a little more...that's strange that the first setting doesn't apply.

Re: Can't see rep when in user CP.

Okay so here's what I can see from looking at a wide variety of members and their rep, post # and when they joined.

For registering with MOL, you get 1 rep. point.

After 1 post, you get 1 rep. point

Every year after you registration date you get another rep. point.

So in the case of Dave, he has one rep point from posting once and 1 rep point for being a member.

So why aren't mine showing up in the User CP?

Well, I had 2 after I made my first post. Now I have 1. Does this mean I have done something wrong?

Yes, worrying about it too much...

There was a change made to the rep system. You are fine.

You did nothing wrong at all. We adjusted the way Rep Points are dished out and it adjusted everyone downward. Those of us who had in excess of 10,000 points now have less than 600. It's all good.
