Re: Advanced Class #3 - Pictures & Comments

Does anyone have any info on the paint thickness guage in photo 4? I've been looking at them recently and have not seen that one.

Once again thank you Mike Pennington, Mike Stoops, Darin and Meguiar's. I learned quite a bit as well and it's just amazing how there is always something to learn & it only keeps getting more amazing. Everyone there was pretty cool and my team kicked some rear. J/k, it was a great time!

I've seen them at Costco from time to time, might also look at Smart & Final.

Was there orange peel in the paint before the team wet-sanded the vehicle? I can't identify it by looking at the pictures.

                      Yes.

Look carefully at the edges where the sanding took place... there's a texture like orange peel...

Also look at the reflection of the florescent tube lights, see the waviness instead of sharp, straight lines...

Great job! I'm assuming that this was the no charge factory installed orange peel option and not a repaint right?

A three tier wire cart, can be found at target dot com. "Search" for the words: Utility cart. I've seen it for as low as $60 on sale.
