Please explain how the "New Posts" button works. Will it show me new posts since I last visited? Do I have to read each new post to have it no longer be new? If I don't log out but revisit the fourms the same day or next day...will the new posts be different from my last visit?

It will show you the new posts since you where last here.
You don't need to read the posts.
No need to log out. Just close the browser or even just go to a different web site. I think there is also I time factor. So if you go to a different web site for a few seconds and come back the same posts will still be marked as new, but wait 10 mins or so and they are no longer.Scott -

Also, if you want to clear the "New Posts" faster, go to "Forum," at the top of any page, scroll down to the bottom and click "Mark Forums Read."
