    Mike & Mike,

    Just wanted to say thank you for hosting the event last night. Had a great time and learned a great deal. Looking forward to the weekend to begin practicing with my new DA.

    Thank Mikes! lol i had fun and learned a lot! i'll go buy some 80 tomorrow and buff my vette this weekend... you guys will see me more and more! thanx again!!

        It was fun night last night! Lots of people, cool cars and great pizza!

        You guys beat me to it as I didn't have the "Pictures *& Comments" thread up so I moved you posts over here to this thread, and because the software lists messges in the order in which they're posted, yours are on top.

          Here's some shots from last night's fun!




          Mike Stoops showing LS1BLKSS how to work out the swirls in his black Corvette using the G110 Dual Action Polisher


          The owner takes over the job


          A thin coat of NXT


          Scott sanding some scratches out of a plastic taillight lens


          Dave's learning how to use an air powered DA Sander



          Then he removes his sanding marks using a rotary buffer with M105





          Jason learns how to remove swirls with the G110







          Then apply some wax...



          And he easily produces a show car shine!

                  Is that a 7 series pad Jason was using? Dark red...

                  When would one be able to use one of those? I thought they were a massive no no. I did hear a rumor that the new 7 series pads are ok to use for a DA. Whats the difference if so?

                    The version xxxx2 pads (ie version 2, as designated by the replacement of the last '0' with a '2' in the product numbers) are indeed safe for the DA. It is an entirely new foam and safe for use on the G100/G110.
