    Re: Ultimate Quik Wax

When you guys (Ryan, BlueZero) tested the Quik Wax sample, was it more like a Quik Detailer in how you applied and removed it or was it more like the old NXT Spray wax where you had to wait for it to dry to a haze and then buff it off?

More like a Quik Detailer. Spray on, wipe until dry.

Any chance we will see this in a larger size? Detailer line perhaps? Gotta get my hands on some of this!!

This is like Quik Wax on steroids. Put Tech Wax 2.0 on your car, use this UQW to deepen the gloss, and spray UQD in between. That's the Dream Team.

Best thing to do would be to post your suggestion to the "New Products Suggestion" forum.

Is this a clear type sealant spray. Kinda like an opti-seal?
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

On and the smell the smell
I am that close to taking a sip.

After trying it it wipes off very nicely too (on the paint of course) . Great job Meguiars!

Awesome product. I thought though that Meguiars says that applying wax in the sun is dumb because it will not bond to the paint or something to that effect. Did you guys find a way to work around that?

Never posted that on this forum. You do have to use common sense, for example, define what you envision to be "sun"

Excellent product! It is neat to see that Meguiars actively listens to this forum and is able to introduce new products that will be user friendly and competitive. My brother recently approached me in helping him detail his Protege5 that has been washed incorrectly for its entire service life. Between the introduction of SwirlX and UQW, I should be able to show him how to properly take care of his vehicle. By the way, when will these products go on sale?

Early 2009 for US. There is a sticky thread about this (Mike posted it today I believe)
