Trigger Wash was introduced in 1981, before it was introduced long time Meguiar's employee Dick Koeth tells me that Barry was educating people about the 4-Step Paint Care Cycle. After it was introduced a new category of products was introduced to retail marketing and a new step was created called Step 5 Maintaining.
