    Super hydrophobic coating video

    I regularly visit a tech website and they had this linked up. Amazing stuff to see. There is a spot in the video where drops of water actually bounce.

    I want to coat the entire Jeep in that stuff. Pull in the garage after driving in the rain and it would be dry. It's like UQD on steroids!

            Wow! That was some amazing tech. I note that the Sandia Lab is owned by Lockheed Martin so, the mil applications seem obvious.

            Can I get my cars coated, now?

            Only problem... what happens when I get a scratch?

              very interesting indeed. Drops of water bouncing. Imagine that applied to the whole car. Bet its gonna be costly.
