    Just left the surgeon's office

    Bad news
    Artificial disk replacement for the L4/L5 disk, Fusion for the L5/S1, and he's going to have to tunnel out around the nerves to relieve the butt, leg and foot paint that I'm having.

    Looks like I'll be out for a while(8 weeks minimum) once they get this surgery scheduled Guess I need to get stocked up on some PS3 games

          Thanks Mike. I'm just ready to get it done and over with. 10 years I've been dealing with this, now it's starting to numb my entire foot and leg. Time to get something fixed, and a good time of year to be out

                I agree, that is a tough pill to swallow. On the good side, there are plenty of PS3 games to keep you company. I'm wrapping up PURE right now and I have enjoyed every second of it. Burnout Paradise and MLB 2008: The Show are next on deck.

                  Sorry to hear that Nick! There are a lot of good PS3 games out to help you kill the time.

                  I've had problems with my hip for the last 5-6 years. Been to a few different chiropractors and a doctor but no one seems that concerned about it. The mechanics don't seem to work right on my right hip and I guess it pinches the sciatic nerve every so often. It's a pain in the butt, literally. I figure someday I'll have to get something done.

                    Thats how mine started out, well replace the hip pain with lower back pain. Pretty soon, the pain got worse. Within the last year, it's gotten so bad that my left foot is numb pretty much 100% of the time, then I started getting leg pain and butt pain. It's been steadily downhill for the last 3 months now. I've been putting off the surgery for a while. Kind of scared of it, and cautious also. Now I'm just ready to get it done and over with.

                              If you get sick of the PS3, and want new forms of entertainment...I would be willing to fly out (if you buy my ticket) and finish detailing your Lightning while you watch in a LA-Z-Boy chair if you want
