Re: More User Control
Maybe it's on a percentage basis? I see "RaskyR1 will become famous soon enough."
That's one thing I never understood about the rep power things, I often see people with about 6 posts and they have a 3 for a rep power, maybe I'm missing something."Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week." Jay-Z

I got two bars too! Don't turn it off!!!!
I don't think it's a great idea to be able to delete posts as once it's posted, it's Meguiar's property.....
I would like it though if we could edit longer.....I work nights currently and read my posts later and wonder how much coffee I drank the 10 hours before.....Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Click on your UserCP and you will come to the screen and anyone who has given you Rep's will show up. You can click and see what they gave you reps for.Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,

Re: More User Control
I bet most folks don't even realize that they have the power to increase the reputation of fellow posters by clicking on the center icon in the left column at the bottom of the article (i.e., the icon immediately to the left of the "report post" icon). It's a way of thanking the poster for a helpful contribution. Theoretically the giving of rep also helps the community.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Re: More User Control
Hey guys,
From a moderation point of view letting everyone edit their posts for as long as they want isn't really practical. As we, Mark, Mike, Mike P., and myself go through and read a lot of posts to make sure that they remain family friendly and conform to the forum rules. Unfortunately, there would probably be some that would go back 2 days later and add something that they are not supposed to. I hope you can see what I am trying to say.
