I am going to purchases some things off of ads. Any pro or detailer products you guys strongly recommend. I have never bought anything detailer/pro before.
Here's the deal: i got a power kit form meguiars direct that has the DA, 2 finishing pads and 2 polishing pads. Will I need any 2.0 pads, like the cutting one?
You don't have to have the 2.0 pads, but I've heard they are nice. That #205 kit comes with two 2.0 pads which makes it a deal. It's all most would ever need for polishing and protecting.
D151 is polish and wax in one hence all in one.
APC+ is a great cleaner that is low sudsing for use in extractors.
Super Degreaser is good but not economical for me since degreaser is something I use a lot of.
What type of products are you looking for?
What kind of vehicle(s) will you be working on?
Do you own a PC/ DA or Rotary?
Will you be maintaining your own vehicles, as well as others (for profit?)
One product you should consider purchasing is the new M205 Ultimate Finishing Polish. I received mine a few days ago and it works amazingly well.
This is a list of things I would get to start off with:
Exterior Prep:
Shampoo Plus
Meguiar's Detailing Clay (Mild Blue)
Last Touch Spray Detailer
Glass Cleaner Concentrate
#105 Ultimate Cut Compound (you could wait for the new and improved version.)
#86 Solo Cut & Polish Cream
#205 Ultra Finishing Polish
#7 Show Car Glaze
#21 Synthetic Sealant or NXT Generation Tech Wax2.0
Remember this is just a list for you to get an idea of the products you may need to keep you vehicles looking their best. Try and answer the questions I posted above, and go from there. Good Luck, and Merry Christmas.
