  • How to remove Bird Etching

I am working on a black car that has a really cheap single layer of paint. Not single stage. Just the cheapest paint job with a mix of paint and clear coat...

How do I remove these etching. I dabbed a glob of NXT wash on them and it helped. But I can't really use anything abrasive on this paint...

    Thanks.

    Did you try claying?

No I will give that a try thanks. All I have right now is Turtle Wax Liquid Clay System. But I will probably buy the meguiar's clay anyway.

ScratchX or M105 may do you some good. I think there are different stages of Bird Doo etching (or is it water stains...).

        Here's an article worth reading.
