Here's Josh removing a bird dropping etching using Ultimate Compound by hand on his one-owner, 1987 Supra

Thanks for the great class, Mike. I can't wait until I have a nice arsenal of Meguiars products to tackle whatever task I have at hand. I really apreciate how Meguiars stands behind their products. If you feel the product isn't giving the results it is supposed to, call customer care and they will walk you through it. If you still aren't satisfied, return the product for your money back! I feel the reason they do this, is because their products work as long as you use the product as the product is intended to be used on the surface it is supposed to be used on. (Mike taught me that )

So I guess what I am trying to say is a big thank you to Barry for realizing this class is a huge benifit to us car guys, and a huge thanks to Mike for putting on a fun, informative class.

              Hey Mike !

Wanted to say THANK YOU for the great information you gave us in class today. Even though I had to cut out early before the " hands on" I learned alot about the products and the process !

It was -1 here this morning + I see people making paint shiny in T-shirts = Jealous!

Can't wait to be back in California this summer at another open garage!

                          Mike,

Thanks for the class. You do great job of explaining the Meguiar's extensive line of products. Now I'm not afraid to use my G110.
When I get my Cobra nice and shiny, I bring it down on a Thursday and give you a ride. I'm sure you've been in Cobra's before, it's just that giving rides is the only chance in hell I have of getting the tires to hook up!

                            A few more pictures...

The car with the worst swirls wasn't dark in color but we chose it anyway as the before and after results in person would be dramatic. Since it's the first part of January the sun doesn't really get directly over our heads so it does make capturing swirls on our time table a little tricky till we get into late spring and then summer.

Inspecting the after results in the sun

We tilted the hood up to get the sun onto the hood

After viewing the results we re-cleaned the entire hood using ScratchX 2.0 with
a W-8207 Soft Buff Pad with the G110 and then applied one coat of NXT Tech Wax 2.0

We also had a chance to try out the brand new Ultimate Compound on a fairly deep scratch. It's pretty common to pick up isolated, random scratches in your car's finish over time, especially if your car is a daily driver. Using Ultimate Compound with one of our Soft Foam Applicator pads, we removed about 98% of scratch right wear your eyes would see it everyday, right above the door handle.

                            Before

After 3 applications of Ultimate Compound

After a few more applied by the owner

This was a great class to start the year off!

Thank you to everyone that attended!
