Watching Barrett Jackson?

New season/week of the best car auction on this past week on Speed.

Anyone watching or attending it? Meguiar's seems to be a major sponsor there.

The cars look great from what I watched but some had swirls lol...

I'll be watching it from home this year. I went last year for a day with my Uncle, but he has since moved. He use to live within 10 minutes of the facility.

If Nick has anything to do with it, there would be no swirls!

B-J should contract with detailers and get the paint corrected prior to auctioning them off!

I've seen some bad swirls in their cars time to time.

I don't have speed channel but catch it once in a great while when I travel.

Interesting to see the final numbers at the end of it all. They sold something like 1,050 cars during the week with total sales of around $63 million. In contrast, Gooding & Co. sold 100 cars this past Saturday (also in Arizona) with total sales of $31 million. Yep, half the total sales on 10% of the total volume!! I watched it via their webcast and they had some stellar cars there, with the big seller being an original, unrestored 1960 Ferrari 250GT SWB California Spyder at $4.5 million. They had some truly amazing cars, including the 1999 Pebble Beach Best of Show winner (1932 Daimler Double Six - Google this car, it's amazing) and an original Talbo-Lago Teardrop Coupe.

I've flipped through but most of the time they don't have the cars that interest me so I lose interest. Interesting though.

I really like the show, first time i heard the auctionier i was so confused

when I was watching it the other day they were talking about some guy that has already bought 3 cars and is apparently a regular at the event! Must be hard to be him haha

With the money they want the paint on a lot of them leaves a lot to be desired
