Hey, My old one exploded from the temperature and ice/water. What is a good one out there. I am thinking about getting the Fireman Nozzle off of ADS, but want to make sure.

Re: Need new Nozzle
Really, I dont use one most of the time for car washing.
I have a shut-off on the end, and will often just open that wide up and hose the car down with nothing on the end. Then at the end, I turn town the water at the spiggot to get the low-flow sheeting effect.
I do have a Gilmour one though, seems good quality.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Need new Nozzle
I have a Fireman Style Nozzle that is very similar to the one on ADS.
I do not like it that much because at my house our we have poor water pressure.
But at the Fire Department it works great because they have really good pressure!
I use one of the metal ones, it is old and in fact it was at our house when we bought it. It works very well with our low pressure.
I attached a switch to the hose so I can leave the nozzle adjusted to where I like it and turn the water on and off.
Since it is metal it holds up well. Below is a link to what it looks like.

Re: Need new Nozzle
I have a GoodYear twist nozzle from Home Depot and I like it a lot. It's pretty rubbery and the nozzle allows for all different types of pressure.
Looks like this.

Re: Need new Nozzle
I have a Nelson brand 'fireman's' nozzle... it works quite well, I paid no more than $10 at Menards for it. It does work very well the big thing I don't like about the Nelson; if you turn it off then drop it on the ground it tends to turn back on and spray all over the place, not sure if the true fireman's nozzle does the same.
Edit: mine looks very close to Ryan's above.Brandon

IMO, yes... I think the 'true' fireman's nozzle is a little over priced but I am sure its a good quality product but too much for me.Brandon

Re: Need new Nozzle
to use the fireman nozzle effectively, you need good pressure!
I don't have good pressure so I just use a cheapo brass sprayer and remove it for the final rinse.Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,
