  • M 205 Application

I bought the wrong pad from ADS, I bought a polishing pad instead of a finishing pad. Do you guys think it would be okay to use to polishing pad?
Has anyone one used 205 with a polishing pad?

Sure! M205 can be used with a polishing or finishing pad.

You can varry the amount of correction by using different pads. For example, I use M205 and a polishing pad to remove bad swirls. Then, I follow it up with M205 and a finishing pad to refine the paint and remove any micromarring.

Also, if you really don't want the polishing pad (and haven't used or opened it), I'm sure Rick at ADS would be happy to make a swap.

I have a Finishing pad but it is for NXT Tech Wax.
I was more wondering I am going to get about the same results with a polishing pad?

Yes. Our foam polishing pads will finish the paint out very nicely with our M205, for a little extra finesse light up your pressure for the last few passes over each section, just don't go to a dry buff, you should always see a film on the paint.

Yeah. It's made for both. I'd rather have a polishing pad actually.

            Use finishing pad for wax.
