  • 2004 Red Ford Ranger XLT (56K NO NO NO)

I was really satisfied with this detail. It was my first detail with my DA. He asked me a couple days ago when I could detail his car, and I said today because I had exams and I thought this was going to take 7-8 hours. I thought that long because I wanted to make sure he had a lot of time and I though his truck was worse than it was. It was also my first time using M 205. What a great Product!!!! It took the light swirls out very easily. He knew a little bit about detailing. He helped out some what, and he even made me some pizza. It ended up only take 3-4 hours. The paint looked a little bit more wet and just cleaner with out the swirls.

    Process

    Wash:
    Hyper Wash 5 gal:1 oz
    Meguiars Microfiber Wash Mitt

    Dry:
    Water Magnet
    Microfiber Drying Towel

    Polish:

    M 205
    Polishing Pad 2.0
    Speed 5

    Wax:
    NXT Gen Tech Wax 2.0
    Finishing Pad 2.0
    Speed 3
    Microfiber Clothes

    Engine:
    Extreme Orange
    Hyper Dressing 1:1

    Trim and Tires:

    2 Coats ASD

    Wheel Wells:
    APC 10:1
    Hyper Dressing 1:1

    Interior:
    Hyper Dressing 3:1
    APC (All Weather Mats)

    Glass:
    Meguiars Glass Cleaner 10:1
    Terry Towel Wash Cloth
    Microfiber Drying Towel

    Touch Up:
    Ultimate Quik Detailer
    Microfiber Towel

    Before:

It was hard to capture the swirls, but they were very light to light.

    Afters:

He did the engine, it was not perfect, but it was okay for him saying that he did it. It is normally pretty clean, he just liked the fact that I gave him some dressing, it really took it up to the next level.

    Thanks for Looking!!!

Nice work there. You're doing really well at this!
I love the effect that NXT 2.0 gives to reds. It will actually be wetter the next day.
              Again, thanks for posting!
