Which do you prefer?

I have a Lexus ES 300. It has a black plastic grille on the bottom of the front bumper. Duplicolor makes a chrome spray. If I did a neat clean job, I think it would look good but which do you guys prefer?

It would something along these lines, I just did a quick photoshop:

it would look good if both the chrome top and bottom matched.

Maybe I could paint every other, or every 2 black strips of the top grille, so the spacing is somewhat equal between them.

Be sure to try the "Chrome" paint before you scuff up your original grille for painting.
The only chrome paint I have seen used didn't look anything like the factory plating they use on plastic parts.

Look up platers in your area. Some shops specialize in chrome plating plastic. Would look a lot more professional.

Let me know if you do this. I have been exploring the option of getting a billet lower grille for my car but $350 is steep. Think I may call some platers for a price quote.
