Agreed! I figured most people use the button but didn't think it would be so overwhelming!

To put a little political spin on it:
The "No, I don't use the "New Posts" button" option is still holding in a solid second place with twice as many votes today as it had yesterday or a 100% increase.
The "Yes, I use the "New Posts" button" option is not showing near the percentage of increase with only about a 25% increase in the past day.
The "No, I don't use the "New Posts" button" supporters are encouraged with this turn of events and feel the tide is changing in their favor.

Can someone confirm is this only a temporary time limit cookie as sometimes in the middle of reading posts I get a error message saying something like no new messages found and I have to press the new messages button again and they reappear again from page one. Is there a way to extend this time?

Everytime, I like to search and find new information and such but i always click on new posts when i log in
