Bob aka forum member rap54olds told us that his father bought this car brand new and sent us a copy of the original invoice so you can see what it cost new and what some of the extras ordered with it also cost for a grand total of





Here's the skinny...

The car was repainted in 2000 using a Dupont Basecoat/Clearcoat system, by accident the wrong hardener was used and Bob says the paint is very very hard and thus very difficult to remove defects out of it.

He has not had a chance to try our new products that use Super Micro Abrasive Technology so we're going to do our best to dial-in a system approach to remove any swirls and scratches and take the paint on this beautiful and rare car to its maximum potential.

Under optional equipment it lists a heater...

The Hydra-Matic Transmission option was only an extra $178.35 and the Radio was $100.82

Talked to the owner yesterday, asked him if he knew how many of these cars were built, here's what he said,

• Approximately 6,420 units were built.
• In 1999 there were 36 registered in the United States.
• In 2000, 10 of these were registered with the Oldsmobile Club of America.

Bob says that he has never seen another one like his with the factory black paint and the red & white interior out of the 3 OCA National events he's attended with this car.


So it's a pretty rare car indeed... it also has a lot of real-estate to polish out!
