  • New member needs help removing pant transfer.

I am a new member located in Long Beach CA.

I am in need of some help. One of my parking spaces has a yellow guard on one side. This moringing I turned too soon on my way out of the space and swiped the guard. It left some yellow on the side of my silver Acadia. I was wondering if there is any product out there that will take the yellow off without harming the silver. I am not wanting to have to get it painted. I have no idea what to do. Please help. Thanks -A-

    Re: new member needs help

Just about any paint cleaner will work, sometimes it takes something with a little bite to remove it, just depends upon how bad it's stuck onto your car's paint.

Look around your local auto parts stores for either some ScratchX 2.0 or Ultimate Compound, either one should work. Pick up some foam applicator pads and some microfiber polishing cloth too and after you've removed the transferred paint you'll need to wax any area you used the paint cleaner or compound on as they will not only remove the paint transfer but they will also remove any previously applied wax.

    ScratchX 2.0

    Ultimate Compound

    Foam Applicator Pads

          Welcome to MOL

i have repaired paint transfer twice using Scratch X 1.0. Try seeing if you can pick up Scratch x 2.0 OR UC like Mike said
